Dear SQL-Community!
With a slight delay, we would like to wish you all a happy start to the new year!
Our Sensing with Quantum Light conference is entering its next round—and yes, as some of you have already been eagerly asking: we are back on the boat!
This time, we will take a round trip through the Netherlands and Belgium, starting and ending in Cologne. The conference will take place from 9–13 November 2026.
As in previous years, you can once again look forward to an interesting program of talks covering a wide range of topics from our Sensing with Quantum Light community (see SQL24's and SQL25's program for reference). In addition, ample time will be dedicated to in-depth scientific discussions, networking, and shared activities and excursions—along with beautiful views from the boat and good food.
More detailed information regarding registration, costs and preliminary program highlights will be available in a few weeks. The application for poster contributions, of which some will again be upgraded to talks, will be open from end of February until the mid of April.
Until then, block the 9–13 November 2026 in your calendar and stay tuned for more information about SQL26 - the number of cabins and thus the number of participants is limited! But still, feel very welcome to forward this mail to colleagues who might be interested and work on "Sensing with Quantum Light".
Kind regards,
the organizing committee
