FYI -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht -------- Betreff: SQL26 applications are open! Datum: Fri, 27 Feb 2026 16:26:17 +0100 Von: Marthe Zeja <marthe.zeja@physik.hu-berlin.de> An: Marthe Zeja <marthe.zeja@physik.hu-berlin.de> Dear all, The *application period for SQL26 is now open <https://www.sqlkonferenz.com/application/>*! As previously announced, this year's ‘Sensing with Quantum Light’ conference will take place from 9 to 13 November, once again aboard the river cruise ship MS Swiss Crown. Starting and ending in Cologne, we will make a round trip through Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. All information about the application process, conference fees, the ship and our route can be found at: www.sqlkonferenz.com <http://www.sqlkonferenz.com>. In order to make this special venue possible, an early application/review/registration process is necessary. Here are the planned dates at a glance: *20 April 2026: Submission deadline *for all applications including a short abstract (300 characters, mandatory!). Participants may indicate whether, in addition to their poster application, they would also like to be considered for an upgrade to a talk. 11 May 2026: Review of applications, notification to all applicants 25 May 2026: Final registration deadline 31 July 2026: Payment of conference fees We are also implementing a forum for all applicants – both for organizational SQL26 matters (e.g. roommate search) and as a platform for exchange, discussion of the latest publications, job postings and more. When filling out the application form, you can automatically create an SQL community account for this purpose. We look forward to your applications and will keep you updated as we confirm our first invited speakers – so stay tuned! And as always, you are of course welcome to share this email with interested colleagues and friends. Kind regards, the SQL26 Organizing Committee Dr. Sven Ramelow - sven.ramelow@physik.hu-berlin.de Dr. Frank Kühnemann - frank.kuehnemann@ipm.fraunhofer.de Marthe Zeja - marthe.zeja@physik.hu-berlin.de
